Privacy Policy

Mother Nurture is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected and complies with the requirements of the 2018 General Data Protection Regulation.  Upon becoming a client of Mother Nurture, a person acknowledges that I lawfully use any personal data in accordance with its legitimate client care interests.

To prevent unauthorised access or disclosure I have put in place physical, electronic and operational procedures intended to safeguard and secure the information we collect.  I am registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), my ICO registration number is ZA292984.

Clients willingly provide personal data to the clinic on their first visit, when they submit a 'client history form'. If someone is unwilling to complete a registration form (including but not limited to your name, phone, email, postal address, age, relevant personal information relating to your health and pregnancy and their signature to confirm consent to treatment) then they cannot be registered and treated as one of our clients.

I store information in my electronic booking system Setmore in secure filing systems. These are compliant with EEU GDPR data protection standards.

Under Data Protection Law, clients consent to the use of their personal data by Mother Nurture for healthcare management purposes.  I will not send promotional or marketing correspondence to clients and any announcements of new services or promotions will be posted on my social media platforms. I also emphasise that I never sell client’s email addresses or other details to other companies.  I do contact clients regarding their appointments or in connection with their treatment plan. You may revise these contact methods at any time.  Personal data may be sent, when necessary and appropriate, to an associated organisation (GP practice, NHS or private hospital/clinic/specialist). This is only ever initiated with the consent of the client.

Clients have the right to access, request deletion or restricted processing of, and to correct any inaccuracies regarding their personal data held by Mother Nurture, (Deletion pertaining to a client’s financial transactions, invoices or clinical notes may only be legally erased after seven years. In the case of pregnant clients, clinical notes must be legally kept for twenty five years).

Any inquiries about this policy and the way I use your information may be sent to Gemma Taylor via e-mail at:

You have a right to contact the data protection supervisory authority if you feel I have not satisfied the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (May 2018).

It may be that data practices change from time to time because of changes to clinical activities, the law, or the nature of technology. If ever it becomes necessary to change this Privacy Policy, I will post those changes here so that clients are always aware of what information I collect and how I use it. Please check back from time to time for changes to this page.
