Individual Sessions
I fully appreciate that for some women and couples group work is either inappropriate or just not something that would appeal. For this reason I offer one-on-one sessions either in your own home or mine. I am able to travel upto 1 hour from Harpenden if you prefer me to come to you. The topics covered are the same as those in the group sessions and will be supported by literature. You can book one session or as many as you feel you need during both the antenatal and postnatal periods.
I charge £25 per hour
2 - 3 hours is often enough to cover most aspects of labour and birth - it's really quite simple!
A further hour will give you enough time to cover the basics of breastfeeding and the care of a newborn. These two subjects are really best revisited once you have your baby in your arms, issues and concerns specific to you and your baby can be covered much better at this time than during the antenatal period.
